Oculus Rift (DK2) video 101 by Froogle

Featured Replies

Thought this was a pretty informative look at what Oculus Rift can do.

He does make one major mistake in saying that FlyInside for FSX and P3D does not work in Direct mode.

He corrects this in an overlay at the very start of the video.

Good to see Froogle promoting VR. I have been flying with my DK2 for months. Hardly use my monitor for P3D. It doesnt sound as he has used Flyinside yet. Might be surprised when he does.

Great review. I am wondering how the Oculus works if you need correction on your eyes. Any experiences here in the community? Glasses, lenses?

In particular, I have 20/20 on my left eye with correction but can't get beyond 10/20 on my right eye. Can anyone with similar problems (or an eye doctor who owns an Oculus :-)) comment on how the image would be affected?

Thanks

Hans
