Best of luck.>>Jim>CYWG********************************************************************I wanted to tell all of ya'll what i did! For a low price of $200.00, I got to fly a full motion B737-700 simulatorhttp://img22.exs.cx/img22/2536/PICT000111night.jpg***By the way the camera was faster than the frames so I had to take MS flight simulator and replace the LCD screens and the actual view out of the cockpit..cause i dont glow like ******* in real life***I highly recomend doing this, any of you in the SoCal Area (or Alteon Training Centers are in various locations in the US). If you can free up some time (and money  ) you should spend it on this. Totally amazing expierience! Especially for you that have the PMDG 737 (although they offer many different simulators: 717 (REALLY COOL!!!! VERY NEW!!), MD-80, MD-88, MD-11 (motion and non motion), 737-200, 737-300) You go up with an instructor, and in my case we did some touch and goes in Seattle. You can feel the force of takeoff and the slowing down quickly feeling. Truely amazing how real it feels and what a motivating expierience it is. If it weren't for the PMDG i wouldnt have done as well as i did (the 60 year old simulator instructor, was all suprised when i raced through the setting up FMS procedure and engine start up)...I learned how to better fly without A/P, (using single cue) and just having the F/D guide me. Also during taxi we never once used the rudder pedals for the nose tiller (truely amazing device :( ) gave us so much control. We entered a COST index of 80 which he said will save the airlines money, when i thought it was the other way around. Once again..truely amazing expierience...this is an annual thing where they let the public in, so i recomend doing it now, or next year...HURRY!!! (alteontraining.com i believe)...or if u want more info...u know how to contace me or contact Mike of the LGB Alteon training center to set up something, great guy. He gives u a goody bag YAY!!http://img24.exs.cx/img24/63/inmotion.jpg(a boeing 737-300 i believe, in use)http://img24.exs.cx/img24/3204/md11brief.jpg(a briefing room, each airplane has one, this one is the MD-11 brief room, where the instructors go over with the pilots what they will be working on that day)http://img24.exs.cx/img24/1831/md80.jpg(i believe this is the MD-88 sim...not sure)
