January 24, 201610 yr Hi. I have p3d v 3.1 installed and asn with rex soft clouds. System spec: cpu i5 4460 3.2ghz turbo 3.4. gpu gtx 750 2gbddr5. 8gb ram. 1tb hdd. With active sky next on and weather overcast I get 12-17 fps and wihout active sky next and weather is overcast I get 18-26 fps. How can I get more fps? Albin Eldebro
January 24, 201610 yr Can't speak to the P3D, but have you lowered the sliders on ASN for cloud min/max, distance, etc? Makes a big difference if you select other than default. January 24, 201610 yr ASN: To see frame rates really increase....fly over the ocean: ASN interpolates weather rather than pulling in actuals from stations. So, frame rates can increase ddramatically. I have similar PC but with a little higher chip and 960 Card. Get 125 frame rate over ocean with ASN running. "What is the answer to life? Knowing the questions to ask." January 29, 201610 yr I think DXT5 is good and less demanding on your computer. What about the resolution? 512? 1024, etc..? As was previously mentioned, ASN settings are important too.
