  1. make sure FSX Weather is not activated with ASN. ASN would take over.
  2. Maybe...maybe IP address is not a static one. Double check by running IPCONFIG. If so,changed address needs to be updated in SimC via notebook. If running ASN on client...also change the address on the Document SimConn.
  3. Are printed manuals provided?
  4. I thought you had to create the plan within ASN, and it then saves the plan for loading from its own folder...(?) I thought you had to create the plan within ASN, and it then saves the plan for loading from its own folder...(?)
  5. Gotta ask, but make sure ASN is actually connected to FSX. Should be indicated by green label at bottom of ASN page. Otherwise...don't know.
  6. FS9 Weather should not be the primary choice. Selecting FS9 Weather overrides ASN. ..please disregard my post.
  7. For a start....make sure the FSX weather program isn't providing your updates, etc. Doug
  8. You might want to run IPCONFIG to confirm IP addresses for web connection. If running on a network: Suggest using the more static IP via LAN versus Wireless IP. If your non-VPN address has changed, then you would have to change it also inside SimConnect----wireless IP more likely to change often on you. Boston Virtual ARTCC website has a good overview on SimConnect setup on network---server and client. http://forums.bvartcc.com/index.php?topic=4950.0 Doug
  9. Mike, I'm curious if ASN's Weather Gauge/Radar works well---or is it needed---in P3D?
  10. Not using P3D, but I did update to B5868. Now, when I load, ASN says it's checking my registration and then the program loads. Try re-registering, or re-downloading and then update to SP4. Doug
  11. Very nice. Setting up ASN as Client, but found out the Weather Gauge only works from Server. Doug
  12. I 'ghost' blog for some software vendors and other tech-related sectors. Does this 'qualify' me to purchase this software? Doug
  13. Not familiar with P3D2, or Opus. But I recently set up ASN on my network. The client PC actually 'mirrors' what you would see on the Server. All the set up info is in their very detailed manual. You do have to navigate SimConnect to enter IP number, etc in the Server Sim.config file. Also, you set up a .xml file on the Client PC and place it in My Documents folder. From the client ASN gives you the same functionality as Server ASN. Doug Assuming you would not be using 2 OPUS and ASN?
