I am trying to make a donation but each time I attempt to get to the paypal site I am told that the page is not available. Any help would be appreciated (as I'm sure would be the donation!)

Sorry to hear you are having problems.  I just made a donation using PayPal (so I could see if there was a problem) and went immediately to the PayPal website without any problems and donated.  PayPal is not part of AVSIM so their website not showing up would be their issue.  It is possible they were undergoing maintenance (but then you tried several times).  I suggest clearing your web browser - http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache.

 

You might also check to see if your browser is blocking PayPal for some reason.  According to the following link, they are not currently down - http://downdetector.com/status/paypal

We have no restrictions placed on any country in the world.  Hopefully it works.  My donation went through okay.  Paypal works worldwide or so I thought.  If you have credit cards, you can put them on file in PayPal and tell PayPal to use your credit card instead of your bank account.  It's also a bit more secure than using your credit card directly.
