  1. I also had thunder everywhere in Europe over the weekend but no thunder out of my window at home?
  2. Thanks for the advice. Fingers crossed, all seems to be OK after disabling ATC
  3. Thanks for the responses. No problems with the camera and I dont think I hit the ATC key but I will try your idea about no AI as I did have that running and, come to think of it, its the first time I turned off live AI and used recorded AI. You could be on to something here. Thanks again. Stay safe Adrian
  4. First of all, let me make it clear, I love this sim. The immersion is incredible. However, this morning, 200nm into my flight North from Southern Italy I had a CTD with the following error message. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated Thanks Adrian Log Name: Application Source: Application Error Date: 10/10/2020 08:08:55 Event ID: 1000 Task Category: (100) Level: Error Keywords: Classic User: N/A Computer: DESKTOP-UVJEPD4 Description: Faulting application name: FlightSimulator.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5f6cce4b Faulting module name: FlightSimulator.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5f6cce4b Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x000000000060416f Faulting process id: 0x3288 Faulting application start time: 0x01d69ead538efcf7 Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_1.9.3.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\FlightSimulator.exe Faulting module path: C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_1.9.3.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\FlightSimulator.exe Report Id: 447fc267-ab1d-4f60-822a-1abb8d8682cb Faulting package full name: Microsoft.FlightSimulator_1.9.3.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe Faulting package-relative application ID: App Event Xml: <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event"> <System> <Provider Name="Application Error" /> <EventID Qualifiers="0">1000</EventID> <Version>0</Version> <Level>2</Level> <Task>100</Task> <Opcode>0</Opcode> <Keywords>0x80000000000000</Keywords> <TimeCreated SystemTime="2020-10-10T05:08:55.1384646Z" /> <EventRecordID>17677</EventRecordID> <Correlation /> <Execution ProcessID="0" ThreadID="0" /> <Channel>Application</Channel> <Computer>DESKTOP-UVJEPD4</Computer> <Security /> </System> <EventData> <Data>FlightSimulator.exe</Data> <Data>0.0.0.0</Data> <Data>5f6cce4b</Data> <Data>FlightSimulator.exe</Data> <Data>0.0.0.0</Data> <Data>5f6cce4b</Data> <Data>c0000005</Data> <Data>000000000060416f</Data> <Data>3288</Data> <Data>01d69ead538efcf7</Data> <Data>C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_1.9.3.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\FlightSimulator.exe</Data> <Data>C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_1.9.3.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\FlightSimulator.exe</Data> <Data>447fc267-ab1d-4f60-822a-1abb8d8682cb</Data> <Data>Microsoft.FlightSimulator_1.9.3.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe</Data> <Data>App</Data> </EventData> </Event> Anyone who can help
  5. Yes, its happening to me too in in the C172 with G1000. If you move your POV around in the cockpit, it usually comes back. Its irritating.
  6. I had forgotten about this tweak so thank you for reminding me. Adrian
  7. Its one of the best piece of free software I've ever seen and if I can use it then anyone can use it. I don't know of any US airline which is not included. All kudos to the guys who brought this to us
  8. So! I spoke too soon. The CTD's are back and they are varied I don't open the atc window, I turned off enhanced weather, I decided to try a default aircraft rather than the A2A Comanche with GTN750 but still I have CTD,s VCRUNTIME140.DLL KERNELBASE.DLL FACILITIES.DLL These CTD's appear randomly and the only common denominator is that I have ORBX Global Base, USLC and all ORBX regions plus local airports in PNW loaded I have an i7-8700K with a GTX 1080 Ti and 32mb ram with all sliders right which I guess is not helping. IT also happened in ORBX Norway with EULC loaded Im going to try flying in a non ORBX region and see if that helps. Is there a way to disable all ORBX without uninstalling? Thanks for any guidance or ideas Regards and stay safe Adrian
  9. That solved the problem! Thanks so much for the tip, its much appreciated
  10. Thanks for coming back to me. On the basis that I dont have the problem with the previous version, I think Ill wait for the hotfix Thanks again and stay safe Adrian
  11. V5 has a great future but it needs fixing. I stopped opening the atc window to avoid one error, now I have this error which causes an immediate CTD. If anyone who can help me to understand what it means I would be most grateful. Thanks Adrian Prepar3D.exe 5.0.21.34709 5e95060d KERNELBASE.dll 10.0.18362.778 afa78a6a c0020001 000000000003a799 3490 01d617075151f90f C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\Prepar3D.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\KERNELBASE.dll 483ac81c-e894-4d31-96ef-e034cd0c8b7c
