January 29, 201610 yr Hi, I just installed the Windows 10 upgrade and would like to uninstall my disk version of FSX so I can get a fresh start with Steam. I searched online and found several sets of procedures that were similar but all different. For example, there were some that suggested using CCleaner to clear the registry and others didn't mention it at all. (I never used this before.) Can someone tell me the correct procedures so I don't mess things up? I'm not that tech oriented. Thanks. Tom
February 13, 201610 yr Personally I would use the normal uninstaller, then go and manually hunt down any fsx related files and delete them, including those hiding in %appdata%and roaming files. As for your registry, after doing that use a registry cleaner, I like the one on Glarysoft utilities free (Sorry if mentioning 3rd party software is not allowed). Hope this helps Barry Liver
