  1. Mine does this too, Usually just with outside engine sounds. For me it seems to be model dependent, especially with the more delicate freeware models.
  2. Personally I would use the normal uninstaller, then go and manually hunt down any fsx related files and delete them, including those hiding in %appdata%and roaming files. As for your registry, after doing that use a registry cleaner, I like the one on Glarysoft utilities free (Sorry if mentioning 3rd party software is not allowed). Hope this helps
  3. Nope, just using the 'instant flight' normal mode.
  4. Hi guys, thanks for input. I do not have mixture set to anything, also I have tried several flights using FS passengers and with out, the problem still occurs roughly 40% of the time in both cases. its so strange
  5. 'thrust set' is just on my MD-11 as thats the only place Ive heard it. As for FSUIPC It seems that its a 'lite' version so cant see any real settings, I dont know how to start with it dark, but have turned them off and restarted them normally (not ctrl+). still get the problem BUT I have been playing around with the load manager and FS passengers in terms of making sure there no clashing with the set ups, no problem thus far, but as said it doesnt always occur.. thanks
  6. Hi, I have FSUIPC but not sure what you mean, I set the controls in the normal fsx menu, And what I can make out is I dont think its 'normal' pilot error as I dont vary the 'startup' procedure, and problem is 100% of the time, just think Im missing something. And I have read through the basic tutorial stuff.
  7. Hhmm, I never touch the mixture as I leave it on auto, I dont set the fuel at all, as it usually starts with fuel, the only time i change it is when im using FS passengers. And its FSX;SE thanks
  8. Shouldnt be as with default start it has at least 30% fuel, also the fuel is on auto transfer/pumps, and Im able to restart them and continue. Barry liver
  9. Hi, I start with the md11, and it starts with the engines running, Sometimes I set the fuel, sometimes not. not sure what you mean by load state/ thanks Barry Liver
  10. Thanks for your input though Barry Liver
  11. Yeh looks like :( thanks Barry Liver
  12. engines do shut down, and I get the 'your engines are off turn them on' notice, Nothing in failures, and is happens with the keyboard all the same. Barry Liver
  13. i did yes, and thought I solved it with the profile button. I checked my assignments, nothing set to any fuel settings or cut offs. Also i watch the cut offs to see if they go when the engines power down but they stay open. Barry Liver
  14. Hi, not sure if this is 'pilot error' or some bizarre bug, but quite often I go to power up then a few seconds later at least two of the engines power down, Iv tried setting the AC up in various orders but the aircraft still wont hold its throttle, but when it does work I do get the 'thrust set' vocal , is there anything im missing? thanks Barry Liver
