But if I crash the icon does not update to the current location, the reset location. It stays at the crash site Was that intended? January 30, 201610 yr Hi John, Thanks for signing your post. The position of the user aircraft icon is based on SimConnect messages. Apparently FSX/Prepar3D stops sending position updates after a crash. You can try to restart SimConnect using the buttons on the Home ribbon tab.
