I've had to reinstall the software and upon install, I select simulator to "Prepar3d" but when i create a flightplan and select fly now a box opens and says "Cannot connect to FSX".

I think I am missing the simconnect file to use, I have been to the developer website and I have only found the network simconnect file, and I have posted on there forum but I have not received any reply's as of yet.

you may try to install or reinstall fsuipc, and all simconnect .msi available in P3D, into redist folder
