Does Opus interact with the default ATC, ie does the ATC provide the correct runway to land on according to Opus's wind direction?

The two are independent of course. However, ATC simply uses the current surface wind that has been injected and opus ensures your destination surface conditions are accurate within the sim typically up to 200km away, well before the sim has allocated runways.
