PMDG 777 Taxi Camera

Featured Replies

In the PMDG 777 with the landing and taxi lights on whenever I turn on the taxi camera at nights the external lights do not illuminate the ground from within the cockpit. As soon as I turn the camera off the lights illuminate the ground. Any help with this?

Full names on posts in the PMDG forums please.

You won't see the camera light ground splash from the cockpit. If it is working in the camera view on the lower DU then all is well.

Not sure why you have both landing and taxi lights on at same time, regardless they're not related to the camera lights.

Thanks for this response but when I turn on the camera there are no lights in the DU. I was trying various combinations with the taxi and landing lights to no avail.

Make sure that the IFE for PASS and the Beacon are turned on. No beacon, no lights. No IFE, no camera.  This trivia is in the FCOM someplace, I know because I had to figure it out once too.
