February 14, 201610 yr It looks like I may have to reinstall P3D... Is there an optimal way to do this, without losing addons? Should I first backup, for example, the SimObjects folder and scenery.cfg? Thanks for any suggestions, Mark Mark Nixon
February 14, 201610 yr Hello Mark, why did you have to Reinstall ? Have you tries all the usual stuff? What have you tried ? *EDIT* Ah, i seen your earlier post. Today, P3D fails to open with (occasionally) an error message referring to a .pnl file. Yesterday it opened normally. I have tried deleting these files, as recommended on this forum, but to no avail. I have also looked for any logs of errors but couldn't find any. Unchecked this box, if you haven't done so yet. In General settings, Let me know if that works
February 15, 201610 yr Author Hello Elaine, I finally tried rebooting the computer and now P3D is loading normally! BTW, where would I find that General Settings/Program that you mention - in case I need it later... Mark Mark Nixon
February 15, 201610 yr In your Prepar3D settings. Go to top left of the screen and into settings, you will find these and many more there, Graphic and display settings etc etc
