September 28, 200520 yr Hi guys,I love your products but I'm having major problems with your customer service forum. Somewhere along the way my password stopped working (or I forgot it). Now when I request a new one it says it was sent to me, but I never receive it. I've added new user names and new email addresses (even got a free yahoo account hoping that would circumvent it) but no joy. I've checked my spamcanner but they aren't going there. I've tried to contact your web person but had a really difficult time even finding direct contact information on your web page. I did get a reply from someone who had suggestions if it was only the DreamFleet products I needed help with (it wasn't but thanks!). I would simply like to reset everything associated with my email address and start over. Who do I need to talk to to do that? This has been going on for several months now and it is getting very frustrating for someone who owns almost every product you have produced. ThanksDavid Lee
September 28, 200520 yr Have you run an email test to ensure that you can receive email from Flight1? This is the first thing I would do. Here's the page:http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=emailtest
September 28, 200520 yr Great advice Todd! I never saw that before but turns out I can at least theoretically receive email from Flight1. Thanks for the suggestionThis is a test mail from Flight1.com. You can successfully receive mailfrom Flight1.com. Please do not reply to this mail. The return address isnot monitored.
September 29, 200520 yr Maybe it would be easier in this situation to contact them by phone? Here is all the contact information from the website. I'm not sure why this is hard to find?http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=contact
September 29, 200520 yr Well, the number is for sales only and not technical support. I suppose they might be able to put me in touch with someone. If you can find the name of a contact person for support of their forum you are a better man than I. ThanksDavid
September 29, 200520 yr Commercial Member David,We can't reach you by email. The one you did in the forum came back as undeliverable. Then I sent you a personal mail from my ISP, and it came back (from the colo email address). The message from the forum was Access Denied, and the ISP one was User Unknown.I asked you in the mail if you could get the webmaster there to stop blocking things. Here is what I suggest. Please try to get a free yahoo.com or gmail.com, or use your main ISP's domain, and register in the forums.Your mail has been coming back to us for 6 months now. Thanks, Steve Halpern Flight One Software
September 29, 200520 yr Try Earthlink, it has been my only ISP ever, for 8 years and counting. When I have a problem, it never takes me more than 2 or three minutes to get them on the phone, and I have only had to call them 3 times in all those years, and they always solve the problem, and follow it up to be sure they did afterwards!Imagine: I have never had to send out an e-mail concerning a change of e-mail address. Regards,http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...R_FORUM_LOU.jpg
September 29, 200520 yr Ahhh Steve and Lou! The cavalry has arrived! ;-) Thanks for the suggestions. I can't imagine why your email would be turned away. I have never had that happen (at least that I know about) other than what gets caught in Spamcanner but I can review those emails before dumping them and I've never seen one there from you guys. What's also weird is when i check my email to see if I can receive email from Flight1 I get that message (saying that I do). I did get a yahoo email address but I seem to have the same problem with that. Could you please try to email that directly: [email protected]. Thanks guys! Weird problemDavid

My last experience with them is when my DSL quit a couple of weeks ago. I called "tech non-support" and asked them if the DSL network was down in my neiborhood. He assured me everything on their end was OK, and that I should start tearing apart my phone system , to troubleshoot a phone problem I must have. This is after he had me changing all my Network settings in Windows. End result after my telehone connection to India dropped out all of a sudden, was that about 20 mins later DSL started back up on it's own. By the way, my neighbor had the same problem. :)I agree with you that their email is great ( I have been with them since it was Mindspring), but their tech support is horrid.
September 29, 200520 yr Steve.Have you had a chance to try my yahoo email? It should work yet I still can't get the forum to send me an activation at that address. ThanksDavid
