March 9, 201610 yr Hey everyone, my PMDG 744 developed a strange problem recently: sometimes, under conditions unknown to me, the engines restart in mid-cruise, combined with a "max FL2XX" - type message, and "check alt tgt" on the fmc. While this problem would be bearable, it has a nasty side effect: VNAV gets disconnected until I press the VNAV button again, leaving the airplane without A/T control. When I am afk and won't press VNAV again, the airplane will eventually overspeed or stall, depending on manual throttle setting. anyone else experienced that?
