Frequency

Featured Replies

Hi, i just baught the PMDG 777 for P3D, and the problem is whenever I try to change a frequency with a .22 in it, there is no way to get to the .22. Example on Gatwick, APPR is 125.22, but the 777 frequency jump from .20, to .25.

Any tips?

FSX and P3D only go 2 digits out, so even though the actual frequency is .225, the sim (and VATSIM/IVAO) use .22. When you select this frequency in our aircraft, you will see .225 on the panel, but ithe sim reads .22.

So, even when it says like 132.25, and center is on 132.2, vatsim picks up the the frequency ?

No. You're missing a digit...

132.25 is 132.250

You then roll the freq down two notches:

132.225

132.200 to get to 132.2

I'm guessing you're confusing the .025 with .25. In old versions of the sim, it would get stuck on jumping through things (like the heading select would only jump 10 degrees each time you try to adjust it), but that hasn't been the case since about FS2002, or FS2004/FS9.
