This is complex for me but hopefully easy to answer for someone with much more knowledge about adding an extra wireless monitor.

 

I want to add another monitor to maybe use a moving map with a flightsim or other graphic. I want it to be wireless and work with my wifi system.

 

I found out you can make any monitor wireless by using this gadget:

So the question is will it work as an extra monitor and display an image different than the main monitor image or will it just mirror that image?

I thought that adapter was used to connect to a TV, its WIDI or Miracast which makes a mirror display of your PC, not really for gaming.
