  1. Indeed there is which was a sneaky entry last hotfix by LM, it`s the Fury drone and i am using it now as my TacPac target drone...
  2. Carenado 350i right now, perfect for short 200nm hop`s, and perfect panel mod by Ryan, i`ve just completed an Around Oz tour and used the 750 for every flight, i love the GPS approaches....
  3. Yes that`s correct, either enable it with the main NV control panel selecting the P3d profile or like you did with NI, i guess the Nvidia driver will not recognise the triple buffer call from P3d without you associating the exe with the provided P3d profile Nvidia made for LM.

  5. yea fair enough but really it`s not GST, if the developer is providing goods or a service then the price would incorporate the tax at POS(point of sale) then pay the collected revenue to the NZ Govt, not add on tax by a merchant in NZ, anyway for lack of hijacking the thread into oblivion it`s not fair on us the customers really.
  6. I`d love to know how the NZ Govt will get the GST off basement developers in other country's? not everything is sold with paypal or simmarket... anyway FSlabs mentions they are passing the cost of insurance to the customers for P3d, what insurance!!
  7. I`ve had Corsair and changed to Swiftech, IMHO best AIO cooler out there with quality cpu blocks and also you have the options of customising your PC with GPU loops which i have done, fans are whisper quiet and it keep temps around 49 Cels with a modest OC. http://www.swiftech.com/h220x2prestige.aspx
  8. Beware v3 is still plagued by OOM`s inherited from V1 in regards to the 3d grass, Rus from Turbulent Designs mentioned the method used for grass is ancient and they may disable it with a patch! but for now just turn it off in the control panel. otherwise it`s great on fps, i`m getting low 40`s with ai in P3d...
  9. It`s still not correct, the landclass around the airport is now showing residential when it should be Industrial, have you posted on the Orbx forum about this. Neil normally sorts it out very quickly and i doubt he would have let this mistake slip through beta testing.
  10. The guy`s over at Groom Lake Simulations have already painted this. Here is the Link. If you are on FB you can also leave your feedback on the livery's, they always appreciate feedback. https://www.facebook.com/search/top/?q=groom%20lake%20simulations
  11. Can someone please show other areas like Oceania... NZ ... Australia..... South East Asia..... Pacific Islands like Fiji ... Tahiti etc... just curious as to what they look like, i`m def going to buy this.!!
  12. I guess that`s why they train Navy pilots to apply full power on touchdown, insurance policy in case it breaks.
  13. It`s Ultimate Traffic not Terrain..! Mines working ok, but i did notice every new version of P3d UT2 seems to get worse regarding fps, also it might be worth checking for high cpu use in task manager when your on VATSIM next time, it could be the client trying to resolve AI Models
  14. They are still working on it, Ed mentioned a few months back they are waiting for more photo`s to finalise the completion.. and it baffles me why developers have failed to develope in this region, it would sell very well considering the proximity to Asia and Trans Tasman Op`s..
  15. P3d is not going to give you results like you had with FSX SE, why are you trying to achieve these massive fps instead of focusing on smooth fps with no OOM`s and great looking graphic`s, turning all your sliders and features off defeats the purpose of changing over in the first place, you do not need all the fsx tweaks in P3d, AM is the only tweak i find useful and running in 4k DSR with no NI, but every system is different of course. if you leave behind all your FSX expectations and enjoy P3d for what it is i`m sure you will have a blast.... good luck my 2 cents
  16. DBS Walk and Follow, and it was the best camera ever, and yes it was for FS9. wish DBS would remake it for P3d, then we could ditch Ezdok.
  17. Unfortunately that is the only downside of DSR, you can lower the cloud texture size to 512 but it will still eat FPS,
  18. I use 4X DSR with 22% Smoothing, do not use any AA outside of P3d, go to the NV panel and select the P3d profile and reset to default, set the AA inside P3d to 8x/16x or whatever your card can handle. if you use any king of sgss in DSR it will grind to a halt.
  19. Gio with your system why are you using that tweak, do you really need it, also what resolution are you running your P3d at? and what resolution is your desktop set to.!! Have you installed the G-sync App, try it, test your monitor, see if you get the distortion also. http://www.nvidia.com/coolstuff/demos#!/g-sync
  20. Me too, i gave up on REX and the 14+ installers to bring it up to date, then try and integrate soft clouds and you have to uninstall again and restart because you went to far.....
  21. Did objectflow get updated?
  22. P3d\ORBX\FTX_AU\FTXAA_ORBXLIBS
  23. If you are running 60 hz then lock your fps in the sim at 60 as well
  24. Lock your FPS in the sim at 60 fps and match the g-sync, make sure in the NCP the G-sync setup option is ticked for both fullscreen and windowed mode
  25. No G-sync runs as low as 30 Hz.. even if you hack the resolution g-sync will not work. You should be running G-sync at 144 hz with vsync turned off in the sim! and FPS unlimited also
