I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me

I guess that`s why they train Navy pilots to apply full power on touchdown, insurance policy in case it breaks.

In case of cable failure, tailhook failure, or failure to catch a cable.  Back before the angled flight deck, this would have resulted in the aircraft crashing into the barrier and possibly into parked aircraft.  Looking at the video, the aircraft definitely slowed before the arresting system failure, I am surprised the pilots were able to keep the aircraft out of the water.  That is some impressive flying!

The linked article was quite informative as to the cause of this incident.

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

i have a feeling the line at the bathroom was long after this happened ... good flying by this guys ...

Image removed as image is no longer available.

Probably had to throw their flight suits away.

You can say that again, I wouldn't mind betting those wheels were wet as they gained altitude.
