  1. stans's post in GPU bottleneck? was marked as the answer
I think you would.  My system is olf, a Core2Quad running at 3.8 GHz.  My old video card was an Nvidia 8800GT with 512 MB VRAM.  I upgraded to a 560Ti with 1 MB VRAM and saw an improvement in FPS as well as smoother image rendering.

If you are talking about modifying the virtual cockpit, then the answer is "no" as virtual cockpits are model objects, modification would require obtaining the source code and developers do not give away their source code files.
  3. stans's post in ADEX Jetways Missing was marked as the answer
My guess is that the jetways are set to a complexity setting that is higher than what is set in FSX.  Either increase the complexity setting in FSX's graphics (which affects scenery globally and will impact overall sim performance) or go back into ADEX and edit the jetways to show up at a lower complexity setting.
  4. stans's post in Shimmering buildings was marked as the answer
In FSX, go to Settings - Display - Scenery, make sure Ground Scenery Shadows is un-checked.  If ground scenery is allowed to cast shadows it will shimmer.
  5. stans's post in Ultimate traffic 2 fps hit? was marked as the answer
I agree on the J3 Cubs, way too many of them flying in the FSX world.

And yes, make sure that the moving jetways option is turned off.
