November 15, 201411 yr Is there a remedy for shimmering buildings. It appears that the polygons won't settle down ~ I've tried changing the type filtering (Anisthropic, Bilinear, etc) but that hasn't helped. Any tips to try will be appreciated. Best to all, Ken Ken Boardman
November 15, 201411 yr In FSX, go to Settings - Display - Scenery, make sure Ground Scenery Shadows is un-checked. If ground scenery is allowed to cast shadows it will shimmer. My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.
November 15, 201411 yr Author Thank you for this tip. I unchecked "Ground Scenery Shadows" on the "Options"\"Scenery" tab and it put an end to the shimmering buildings. Best regards, Ken Ken Boardman
