automatic start of FSIServer in P3D

Featured Replies

Bonjour,

I started to use OPUSFSI with P3D, and reading the documentation I can see that it is possible to launch the FSIServer as with FSX, using the exec.xml file.

But in P3D recommendations it is written "You cannot start OpusFSI until P3D has loaded its flight, or a prepared Default flight".

It seems to me that the recommendation is in contradiction with the automatic start using the exec.xml.

May Stephen you could enlighten me.

Cheers

Claude

Should be ok using the latest beta and v3 of P3D. The limitation was only due to a problem with earlier P3D code which crashed if any add on tried to connect via SimConnect before a flight was loaded. This problem, I believe, was corrected by LM in later releases so the exe.xml launch should work ok.

Stephen :-)
