April 1, 201610 yr Hi I'm trying my hand at updating an airport, and although i have a rough idea on blending the airport into the exsisting surrounding scenery, however the bits of photo scenery outside the airport that i am still using dont match the colouring of the textures of ftx global Is there some tool or other that will help blend the colours to match a bit better Thanks Pete Little
April 1, 201610 yr Depends what image editing tool you're using. If you have Photoshop (or also might work with PSP) you might find this forum thread helpful: http://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/threads/how-to-quickly-color-correct-raw-sattelite-images.18417/ For a quick and dirty method, you can use a screenshot instead of trying to locate the landclass tiles. What I do is clear the weather, set time of day to noon and then take an overhead screenshot. Then I just use the color matching feature built into photoshop using a polygon selection of the landclass areas of the screenshot image for sampling. You can make some small image adjustments from there to fine-tune but I find this gets close enough much of the time. Barry Friedman
