After successfully activating the GNS430/530 program, I started FSX-steam and selected the Cessna 172 where the installation defaulted to.

 

All seemed well until this popup screen appeared below:

 

   Mindstar Gauge

 

   MPI Gauge: Failed to Load SimConnect Interface DLL

   C:\Program Files (x86)\Mindstar\Flight Sinulator Addons\iSimConnect.dll

   Error Code 14001

        

                                         "[OK] button"

 

And the GNS430/530 was not available for the selected aircraft.
