April 13, 201610 yr When I first load a P3DV3.2 (Win10) flight I find that while the "On Press" assignments work, the "On Release" assignments do not work with both the A2A Cherokee and Comanche. The default Bonanza does not have this problem. Weirdly the problem goes away if I just go to the Linda program window, which is always initially showing the Settings page, and just click the Linda Joystick button next to the Settings button. Without doing anything else at all I just go back to P3D and un-pause P3D and find that the "On Release" commands are now working. Problem occurs with both my Saitek switch panel and Warthog throttle switches. Happened with Lind 2.6.7 and now 2.6.9. Any help appreciated, gb. YSSY. I have tested the OnRepeat and OnRelease functions (using the default and A2A C172) and they are working correctly on initial startup with the Summary page displayed and when I select the Joystick page. I am unable to reproduce the reported problem. You can provide me with more evidence if you turn on the debug function. Edit the config-vdi.lua file (in /modules/linda-cfg/system) and change the line DEBUG=1 to DEBUG=2. Save the edited file and open the Console. You will see the OnPress, OnRepeat and OnRelease buttons and functions list. The OnRepeat runaway fault has been fixed in the latest download. It was caused by pressing a button before LINDA had completed it start up process. LINDA is not initialising correctly until either you select the Joystick page or Restart Lau Engine is pressed. I will investigate further but I can not provide a fix until next month.
