I have just recently acquired the GNS430/530 and I'm new to the Mindstar family.

 

I have this burning question that I can't seem to find the answer for.

 

Will I be notified when its time to update my quarterly data cycle for my the home license version, or will it be updated automatically, or shall I just try to update it when I think its time, or what?

 

Oh, and by the way, are there any known conflict issues with having RealNav for Mindstar, and the NavData for X-plane on the same computer system. Do you think I'll have any problems between the two different updates programs?  I'm considering installing the NavData as well you see. 

 

Sorry, but I've researched these questions, and I cannot  find the answer.

No there is no notification. There's an application in the Mindstar/Flight Simulator Addons folder called NavUpdate. It's how you take care of it all.

 

I know nothing about the X-Plane nav data as none of our products are for X-Plane at all so I really couldn't answer the question. However, it is extremely unlikely that there is any conflict.
