Has anyone using the A320 noticed this ?

 

When climbing to FL360 and higher in managed mode - the mcdu (according to the cost index will give you a climb speed of say 300/.76.

The plane climbs at 300KIAS but at mach crossover, the speed steadily increases to M .779 but at cruise altitude will settle back at M .76
