May 28, 201610 yr Fresh installation of V2.7, lunching Linda and an error message pop up " Exception ELlistError module LINDA.exe at 00317CF7, duplicates are not allowed." Any idea Tnx in advance Yair
May 29, 201610 yr Hi Yair I am sorry but I cannot answer why your fresh installation is generating the error. I suggest you try again by deleting the /linda and /linda-cfg folders in fsx/modules and reinstalling. Make sure you take a backup and copy back your aircraft folders into both /linda and /linda-cfg. See guide in release notes. Andrew Gransden Scotland, UK LINDA Support/Developer - VATSIM and BAVirtual - Airbus Flyer i7 1TB SSD GTX980 - FSX/P3D - Aerosoft Airbus A318/A319/A320/A321 - FS2Crew

Reg. Yair
May 30, 201610 yr Your method looks correct. Try starting FSX and then LINDA. Andrew Gransden Scotland, UK LINDA Support/Developer - VATSIM and BAVirtual - Airbus Flyer i7 1TB SSD GTX980 - FSX/P3D - Aerosoft Airbus A318/A319/A320/A321 - FS2Crew
May 30, 201610 yr The 'duplicates' error message is the clue. Have you reinstalled any additional aircraft? Have you double installed an aircraft module in LINDA? Did you fully delete the 2 LINDA folders? Check FSX/simobjects/aircrafts, fsx/modules/Linda/aircrafts and FSX/modules/Linda-cfg/aircrafts for any duplicate folders. Go back to your backups (you did make a backup didn't you?). May 31, 201610 yr Author .... this is the first time I installed Linda on this Rig, no previous versions footprint Did not install any AP as well Have under Linda subfolder by the name of "Aircraft" and "FSX Default" which contain 2 .lua and 1 .txt Then I have Linda-cfg subfolder "Aircraft" and "FSX Default" which contain different files config-mcp and one Cconfig-hide-Saiteks Should it be like this ??? Not sure what to look for under my FSX/simobjects/aircrafts Ihave the default and just a few Carenado over there, that's it Yair
May 31, 201610 yr Hi Yair I have carried a complete fresh install of 2.7.0 and cannot reproduce the error. It worked as expected. I deleted all LINDA files from the fsx/Modules directory and copy-and-pasted the /linda and /sound folders into the modules directory. Can you please do the following and email me the results to [email protected]? Zip your complete fsx/modules directory and contents. Provide screenshot of error display. Can you also try installing 2.6.7 from the bottom of the download post? June 1, 201610 yr Author ..sorry but I do not see any file to download and I don't see where I can upload a file or pix
June 2, 201610 yr Hi Yair You appear to have the same problem as reported on another thread. Are you using GO Flight devices? If so the version of LINDA may not be handling the extra long serial numbers used by those devices. Try removing all but one of the GO Flight devices and see if you get the error message. Also email a screenshot of your LINDA Joystick Setup page to me at [email protected].
