May 30, 201610 yr Hey, First off, I hope it's okay to ask about OpusFSI related issues here, despite the forum being named OpusFSX. I recently picked up OpusFSI for its camera / head movement functions, after EZCA giving me a lot of grief. After some reading and setting up, I finally set everything up the way I wanted. One problem though; I set up my Xbox One controller to move around the cockpit and it works great but I can't seem to move the external view. I'm using the OpusFSI-specific external camera but nothing moves when I use the live camera controls / controller? I tried looking around but can't seem to find any answers, if I'm even supposed to be able to do that. Hope there's a solution [MSI MPG X870E Carbon | 9800X3D (PBO +200Mhz / -20 Offset) | Corsair 64GB DDR5 (Custom Timings) | RTX 4090 Founders Edition (Undervolted) | WD SNX 850X 4TB + 4TB | Antec Flux Pro]
May 30, 201610 yr Commercial Member I assume you are using P3D and have enabled the PDK Interface. In which case there is a bug in the recent LM PDK software which prevents external 'Custom' views from being controlled as they are in all other sims. The answer is to upgrade to the latest OpusFSI Beta version and re install or set up the OpusPDK Interface. Provided Spy reports operating in the correct P3D mode OpusFSI will automatically use SimConnect to control your external views and all should be ok again. Stephen :-)
May 30, 201610 yr Author Yes, I was using the PDK interface. I did as you said and it worked! Finally I can get some beautiful external screenshots. The direction movement, forward, backwards and to the side seems fairly slow, even with the slider all the way to the right on "Fast", however. But this will do. Thank you Stephen [MSI MPG X870E Carbon | 9800X3D (PBO +200Mhz / -20 Offset) | Corsair 64GB DDR5 (Custom Timings) | RTX 4090 Founders Edition (Undervolted) | WD SNX 850X 4TB + 4TB | Antec Flux Pro]
May 30, 201610 yr Commercial Member The speed will increase with each repeated click on a direction arrow, you can also manually set the eye point to jump to an eye point location. Again make sure the latest beta is used. Stephen :-)
