Automatic selection runway

Featured Replies

Dave,

Is it possible to improve the runways automatic selection?

Let me explain, when landing on an airport with parallel tracks, the shortest runway should be selected, this is not the case now, I'm testing with LFPG.

After well as EGCC particular airport or runway 05R despite what is the longest and 05L for takeoff, it would not be simple.

One solution would be to add conditions to select runways for landing and take-off manually and saving (in a file so that we can copy for Relocation) for the software in the future as desired selects tracks automatically.

For now the solution manual is available, but this requires the approach selected, but when the "ATC Assigns Approaches" that this fact during the flight when communicating.

thank you again for this wonderful software, I use 2 to 3 times per day since my purchase.

I really wish you help improve this software that I find wonderful.

Thanks

Mickael,

In 200.31 I added the ability to request a different approach, even after ATC Assigns your approach, so you could select a different runway that way.

Runway preferences for takeoff and landing with parallel runways is on the future feature list as a possible addition to the program.

Thanks,

Dave

Not necessarily for the airport with parallel runways because it would postpone NOTAM if necessary. I think some things that look like this would be a good start. This remains a suggestion.
