Nagging new FS9 addiction - can you help please

Well its been 14 months since I first got FS9 and I've been quite happy just hopping into airliners to fly long & short-haul routes....but these are routes *I* make up.Now all of a sudden things have changed! I want to fly the same routes the airline flies in real-life (RL)...using the same plane as they do in RL as well...at the same times!Now this is all old hat to you simmer-gurus but its suddenly made FS9 all the more interesting for me http://jm.g.free.fr/smileys/cute_smileys/smile1.gifBut I find this a bit difficult to do. Qantas has a great website because they tell you the *type* of plane used on a particular route. So this makes it easy for me.However not all airline websites do this so I resort to guesswork. Some airlines like Frontier & SWA are easy - they only have one type of airlplane and all I need are the depature & arrival times from their websites.I have searched for flight-plans on Avsim but have only found a couple (and they are good...I found realistic flight plans for the NG737 & 767). Hi there. I best way to be as close to real life as you want, is to join a virtual airline. There are several different flavors out there, most with real-life flightplans. MidCon is by far the most advanced, because they provide you with a complete dispatch system, ACARS, etc.The best/most realistic VAs in my opinion are:- Mid-Continent Airways (http://www.midconair.com)- Onyx Airways (http://flyonyx.de)- British Airways Virtual (http://www.bavirtual.co.uk)Of course, there are a ton others (Continental, American, etc.)...Good luck.

At my website and available for download is the British Airways 2002 Timetable. Although named as British Airways it actually contains times for about 15 Airlines. Not all of the flights name the aircraft (about 30% I think) but where the aircraft is not named it is listed as jet,turboprop or coach (yes the things with wheels that drive on roads maybe you can download one or there are several cars out there so a taxi perhaps?). clayton4115 - that is excellent! Another Avsimmer had started a thread on that and I saw your reply straight after that one! Its a great find!Im hoping they will expand on the a/c-type list! But I like flying the A320 & 767 a lot and they have that up and running so yay!Also I found that Delta Airlines has this really cool "Skyteam Travel" timetable that you download onto your computer (its an .exe file). It installs this little program that not only gives the details of the latest Delta timetable...but all its Alliance partners as well (KLM, NWA, CSA etc). Its brilliant!...and yes...gives a/c type.In the past an airliner flight would take a 5-minute preflight...lol now its a wee bit longer as I pull out the realworld routemap and decide where to trundle off to :(

If you just want to fly real airline routes, at the right times with the right plane, and aren't too worried about getting the real flightplan, you can check schedules athttp://www.eskyguide.com/search or http://travel.airwise.com/schedulesOnce you've chosen, you can probably get a near-to-real flightplan generated by visiting http://rfinder.asalink.net/free
