October 25, 200520 yr Hello. I don't happen to be in front of a machine with FS2004 installed and I'm hoping someone will answer this quick question for me.Is it possible to have a subfolder containing textures inside the main Texture folder and have them still be recognized by the sim?In other words...FS9 Texture default texture file.bmp default texture file.bmp default texture file.bmp xxxx Folder Name other texture file.bmp other texture file.bmp default texture file.bmp default texture file.bmpThanks!
October 25, 200520 yr good question, but I don't have the answer. I'll be watching though to see if there is...I'd suspect, and this is only my own uninformed opinion, that if it's in the texture folder it will be read by fs. But, hey, let's see what happens...billg
October 26, 200520 yr For aircraft you can have multiple texture folders in the aircraft folder - see the default C172. Gerry Howard
October 26, 200520 yr Dont think so. I have some folders in the Texture folder and they hold backups of replaced texture files, not renamed. So they can't be readable or else there would be problems!Allcott
