July 8, 20169 yr When I look at the ailerons, there appear to be trim tabs. If these are trim tabs, is there a way to set them? I can't seem to find an aileron trim control anywhere. I'm having a bit of a time flying level without having to apply a little yoke here and there. Could be my Saitek yoke. I've recalibrated it often and it seems to help a little while, then it starts to leaning very gradually to port or starboard. My yoke aside, is this something that the Shrike really does?
July 8, 20169 yr Author Not in front of my PC just now, but I know there is the pitch and rudder trim controls on the overhead. There is also an aileron trim up there too? Wow, it must be hard to see. I'll check it out later tonight. I hope you're right and I just missed it. Thanks.
July 8, 20169 yr Actually you're right, looks like just the pitch, and rudder trim now that you mentioned it? Sorry!
July 8, 20169 yr Author Reading old, old online articles about the AC 200 series, they say that aileron trim was not included (for some reason that wasn't clear to me). Guess I'll just have to keep recalibrating my yoke, hand correcting, and using heading hold on the AP. But I love the plane!
