Fuel Selector - Outboard to Inbound

Is there a way to get from the outer tanks to the inner tanks without killing the engine passing through the middle position?

You have to be lightning fast and accurate with the mouse and still the engine starts to choke before I get there.

Is there a shortcut I'm missing?

In the old FSD Pa-31 Navajo/Panther, you would open the fuel crossfeed valve, then move the fuel tank selectors.  I don't have the Alabeo Chieftain, but I do have the Carenado Navajo.  I don't think the crossfeed in the Carenado Navajo does anything and since it will only feed from the outboard tanks until they are dry, I stopped trying to even select fuel tanks.

The plane does run out of fuel on the outboard tanks and so we have no choice but to select the inbooads.

Tried using crossfeed during the process - but no luck..  Oh well. If anyone knows something more .. please post.  Thanks.

As I said, the sim is designed to automatically feed from the outboard tanks first, try just leaving the selectors set to inboard, that worked for me in the Carenado Navajo.
