My AI Aircraft and Ground Vehicle have vanished

Featured Replies

Dear someone much smarter than me,

All  AI traffic and airport vehicle traffic are gone?
all settings for traffic are at max
I am running V3.2.3
and using only pmdg 737 and 777
road traffic seems to be ok
Ground Vehicles are also gone?
recently installed Orbx freebie for North American AI and I think that is when problem started... did it delete AI aircraft?

Do you have any Traffic Add On Installed,  Like Mytaffic 6 or Ultimate Traffic 2?   If Not your Not missing any Entries in your simobjects.cfg !

Go here   Prepar3D  ► Scenery  ► World  ►  scenery

Look for this    trafficAircraft.bgl  This is what it should look like,    It should be down nearly at the bottom,   What does yours say?

North American AI

Ah, sorry just seen that now,  More then likely this has disabled the .BGL file.    I'm not sure how or where North American AI Launch's from

Ill  install myself and come back to you

trafficBoats.bgl

trafficCarriers.bgl

no trafficAircraft.bGL

any way to get these filkes without reinstalll of p3d?

that takes forever with all my add ons

Dave

no traffic add-ons

thanks... orbx of no assistance

their forum is VERY hard to use and the people tend to be arrogant

any idea where the AI aircraft are located?

no trafficAircraft.bGL

Its there alright,  It has just been renamed,   One min.................

Ok,  I don't know how to get North American AI working because i know Nothing about it.

But if you wont to Revert back to your old Default AI..................

Go here   Prepar3D  ► Scenery  ► World  ►  scenery,   Does this look like yours now ?

The files all boxed In Red have been added in by Orbx AI Traffic.  The file in Blue is the Default trafficAircraft.bgl file and as you can see it has been turned Off.

You can delete the files in Red.      Important Right Click on trafficAircraft.bgl.DISABLED and Rename to trafficAircraft.bgl.

It will Install 44 folders into Prepar3D ► Simobjects   You will know these by Name,  FTX NA ,  You can Delete them as well

OH crap  I did uninstall and deleted all in red the Traffic_FTX NA GA ..... all six files and deleted all the FTX  NA aircraft (44)

BUT I deleted TrafficAirccraft.bgl.Disabled-FOR-FTX-AI

later when I saw the the other deletions didnt seem to get my traffic back

I guess I really blew it

luckily it was still in my recycle bin so i restored it

now what

It being TrafficAircraft.bgl.DISABLED-FOR-FTX-AI

renamed it as directed

still no AI traffic

trafficAircraft.bgl is a bgl file and is 21,980 KB

where are the aircraft files located ?

how about my My ProgramData/simobjects.cfg file for AI aircraft (see above)

as an aside there are no ground vehicle either although they are in simobjecr follder under GroundVehicle folder
