have been using PMDG 737ngx for years... first in FSX now in P3D. There are now no graphics in the heads up display in P3D I know how to activate it and use it so something is amiss in software one person said start a ticket with PMDG and send them my xml.dll file and they will correct it if an add-on has corrupted it I don't think there is any way to communicate directly with PMDG I am running the following add-ons: AS2016 VFX Lots of Orbx add-ons EZCA this is a recent occurance My system is: 4-core i7 6700K Asus Z170-A Motherboard Intel Core i7 6700K 4.0GHz Quad Core 8MB 95W CPU 2 x Crucial DDR4-2133 16GB Ram EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB SC Video Card Onboard Sound Sound Card Samsung 850 EVO 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 2.5inch SSD Hard Drive Asus 24x DVD-RW SATA (Black) CD / DVD Rom Fractal Design Arc Midi R2 w/ Window Case EVGA SuperNOVA 1000W PS Power Supply Corsair Hydro Series H60 CPU Cooler (Rev. 2) CPU Cooling Arctic Cooling MX-2 Thermal Compound Upgrade Additional Cooling Additional Chassis Fan Additional Cooling Fractal Design Define R4/XL/Arc Midi R2 Acrylic Window Replacement w/ 120mm fan Additional Cooling Windows 7 Professional 64-bit OEM SP1 OS

OH crap I did uninstall and deleted all in red the Traffic_FTX NA GA ..... all six files and deleted all the FTX NA aircraft (44) BUT I deleted TrafficAirccraft.bgl.Disabled-FOR-FTX-AI later when I saw the the other deletions didnt seem to get my traffic back I guess I really blew it luckily it was still in my recycle bin so i restored it now what It being TrafficAircraft.bgl.DISABLED-FOR-FTX-AI renamed it as directed still no AI traffic trafficAircraft.bgl is a bgl file and is 21,980 KB where are the aircraft files located ? how about my My ProgramData/simobjects.cfg file for AI aircraft (see above) as an aside there are no ground vehicle either although they are in simobjecr follder under GroundVehicle folder looks like AI traffic is back! you did it WOW I am impressed shouldnt there be aircraft on ground and service vehicles as well? found ground aircraft in europe Elaine, Your assistance has been great! Dear someone much smarter than me, All AI traffic and airport vehicle traffic are gone? all settings for traffic are at max I am running V3.2.3 and using only pmdg 737 and 777 road traffic seems to be ok Ground Vehicles are also gone? recently installed Orbx freebie for North American AI and I think that is when problem started... did it delete AI aircraft? has anyone encountered a tutorial for pfpx which doesn't have an unprepared, self- agrandizing, blathering brit who say but-yeah and etc etc a thousand times only one i have found is Froogle who covers in 10 minute what these others cover in an hour

nice to know but where prey tell do I get that I am downloading from carenado site about to give up on Carenado "support" they just tell me to keep downloading the same file

I have sent Carenado 20 some emails for help. They say it will install in V3, but I am unable to get it to do so. Anyone else had any luck. these instructions from them are not valid .... no PI1300.exe file in download and this appears to be for FSX HELP! Steps for installing Carenado PA46T Malibu JetProp HD Series FSX/P3D: 1.- Unzip the downloaded file and put the "PI1300X.exe" file in the desktop. 2.- Double click on that file (it is an auto installer). 3.- When prompted for the Username and Serial, type the information provided by email or in the last screen of the purchase process. 4.- The installation should take less than a minute. Important: First time you use the aircraft in FSX you may be prompted to “Run” or “Don't Run” by the Microsoft Security Alert System, just ignore it and click “Run” to install the gauges. Then click on “Yes” in the next dialog window. Repeat this sequence every time that windows appear (this will depend on how many gauges has the aircraft) All the documents are inside a folder called “Carenado” which is in the FSX root folder.

Keven, Your "support team" was not helpful. He tried to blame it on the usual implying that I did not know what I was doing eg.: 1. Security software 2. Not installing as admin 3.The classic... try turning the computer on and off again 4 And finally"simply"install FSUIPC and this only after I got an error saying I needed FSUIPC... nowhere in software description did it say I needed this 5. Then he just left me hanging A forum is NOT support, it is the new way of saving money and expecting users to solve each others problems. They are endemic with small software companies. Many companies provide at least chat support or phone support. I ended up solving the problem myself without ANY USEFUL help from him. It took me 3 hours. I abhor forums... they have there purposes as a way for users to talk about the product, but they are not PRODUCT SUPPORT. If you called your car company and they said we wont answer your question go to a forum to get user help, would you be happy? This is by far the most convoluted and uneccessarily complex install i have ever seen. When I try to install I get "ERROR Could not extract file! VFXCentral.exe" when the file has ALREADY been extracted and of course you have no live support no phone number and no live support just a cop-out forum i did not pay you to wade through a forum FIX the PRODUCT I down loaded the file 5 times and unzipped 5 time with the same result

Your tutorials are EXCELLENT! Good aviation and aircraft knowledge, great 1080p graphics, perfect pace, great voice and no distracting music. AOA should hire you; or you should buy them . PMDG never producted their second tutorial and AOA is VERY VERY slow (but good). I would have been lost without your tutorials. Thank you very much... keep up the great work.Dave Ambrose

I hope that a truly free clone to MS Flight Simulator will come about. I use OpenOffice3 in place of MS Office. Open Source software which to me is better than the MS product. I know this is a whole different ball game... just a lame thought and hope on my part.Dave "Stall" Ambrose

Quite a good series of tutorials for the basics of FLYING the PMDG 737NGX are located as noted below. The guy seems to know a lot about the product and has a good clear voice (no crappy music) and the pace is excellent as are the 1080p graphics. PMDG 737 NGX Full Tutorial by FSXpilot767 on UtubeI too bought the full AOA package. The product produced so far is very good. I would rather they would have started with flying and gone back to the details later. Lots of good freebies on their site for customers. I love EZcam that they suggested. The informal lessons Chris is putting out are ok, but he should listen to FSXpilot767 who is MUCH better (or hire him). Chris is not good at unscripted material.Output pace is very slow and lots of errors on the last one.Would I purchase it again knowing what I know now? NGX floder is there , but nothing goes into it????I am deleting all panel states as I might have an old one... according to PMDG "Panel states need to be remade using the SP1 FMC as well - old ones are going to cause weird problems, we've already seen some reports that are probably the result of this." LOVE THE UNIDENTIFIED "wierd problems"

I cannot save any routes on FMC. I type in a route name such as EHAMEGLL and when I try to save it says the name is invalid no matter what route name I try ( ie. EHAMEGLL001 etc). If I press the line select for save, the confirm light comes on and the execute light comes on, but when I press the Execute button nothing happens (light stays on) and no route appears to be saved. Where are Route files for NGX saved? I was previously able to save them? Looks like I screwed something up. I have installed update 1 and 1b. HELP! I have read the other post and replies on here relative to saving a route and tried the procedures and still have the problem.

Thanks for help Emi... I was in pfd mode but when i when to options and switched it off and back on they magically appeared. It appears its a good idea to change all options and then change them back to desired to get in sync with sp1.

The sp1 changes information says, "Various fixes to text labels in the VC (ie missing "---MFD---" text above the MFD buttons)".I installed all new skins and panel states and options,but the MFD buttons say "inop" and no text above.Can anyone help me?

hey LeffeThanks for rely i deleted all Panel Staes except clddrk, default, long and short..... do I have to delete these as well. I forget where they are located to delete if so.I did download new liveries.

I installed 737NGX sp1 and see "inop" as labels on both MFD buttons and on the VOR2/ADF2 switch for the ADF2 position. ADF2 works but neither MFD button does anything. Is this my problem or is this an sp1 problem? Has anyone else experienced this. PMDG makes great products.Dave
