Wassup my fellow 737 NGX Captains :)

 

Tonight I joined the forum and over the 550 pages of topics on the PMDG 737 NGX

I thought that quite a lot where HUD related! On the HUD being clear and the display not being there!

 

Well if anyone is having this issue please comment and I will tell you 2 simple steps that you may be missing to fix you Heads up Guidance system :)

It the HUDs object actually there? Have you pressed the window frame area, as it won't apear by itself?

 

I found it by accident clicking here. My airline is too poor to have this optinal extra. So I prefer not to use it. :wink:

So what I did was re installed the pmdg 737

At first I thought it didn't work, but as I looked more at the HUD I sore a brightness display, and I turned the knob and all of a sudden the HUD display slowly appeared, as I adjusted more it fully came on! There it was the display it worked!  

So maybe thesettings have started your HUD in the low brightness where u can't see anything?

 

Secondly im a captain in the 737 NGX So we have the HUD! And on there is the clear feature!

So when your taxiing out for TO You can press the clear button on the centre pedistool where the HUD Settings are! So your settings may have gone wrong and as soon as u enter the flightdeck the HUD Is automatically in the clear mode, so it's not displaying the HUD Display? And it's just a clear HUD

99.9 % of the time if the hud is clear is due to the dll.xml being corrupted

have been using PMDG 737ngx for years... first in FSX now in P3D.

There are now no graphics in the heads up display in P3D

I know how to activate it and use it so something is amiss in software

one person said start a ticket with PMDG and send them my xml.dll file and they will correct it  if an add-on has corrupted it

I don't think there is any way to communicate directly with PMDG

I don't think there is any way to communicate directly with PMDG

 

Support is linked from our homepage in a few places (most notably under the word "support" at the top center of the page), a few places here on the forum (to include my signature below), and in the Intro Manual (which you should definitely read). We're definitely available to be contacted directly.

 

Submit a ticket at support.precisionmanuals.com (linked in my signature), with your dll.xml file attached. Instructions on finding it are here (about half way down the page):

The account on the support site is unique (i.e. you will need to create an account - it's not your store account, or your forum account).

If  you made a back up copy of  your DDL.XML than its just a matter of   reinstalling  it  again
