July 21, 20169 yr I currently have a GTX 680, but I ordered a new GTX 1080 graphics card and it should be coming shortly. I wanted to know whats the proper way to get up and running with my new graphics card. Should I uninstall my current nvidia graphics driver and revert back to the generic one before installing my new video card? Or can I simply just swap out my old one for the new one, and then update the drivers?
