Op Center and FsxSe

Hi All,

 

Since while i did not used any of my pmdg products, but i was surprised to see that the opc shows that i still with Fsx, however i ve really updated to SE so any idea pls !!

Sid, each time the OC is started, it looks for installed platforms (ie FSXSE) and products. If it doesn't see an expected entry for a platform in the registry then it assumes that platform is not installed.  This activity if kept in a log file in appData\Roaming\PMDG and you can look at the log to see what the OC is finding.

 

You were not clear, but I think you said you uninstalled FSX and installed FSXSE... regardless, if Steam did it's job in the registry then the OC should find it; HOWEVER, Dovetail has been known to do something different for odd reasons or maybe they just want to confuse other vendors.

Thank you for answering, in fact i ve moved to Fsx Se with clean installation Win10, Fsx Se ...add ons...etc and i am sure that my pmdg products was installed for SE version, anyway i ll check your advise and back to you, you know what i regret my Box version so much, cause before moving to SE there was an update or hotfix from pmdg and my 777 flight to aerosoft Egll had very good performance fps usig steve d10 fixer, unfortunately now my fps at such airport turn arround 6-8 even disabling all scenery not planned
