VATSIM UK Live! 2016 tonight - Friday evening talks video stream

Recommended Posts

Tonight, Friday 29th July, VATSIM UK members from across Europe will gather in Birmingham for VATSIM UK Live! 2016.

As a special treat for this year’s Live! we are hosting a special series of talks featuring some familiar faces from the VATSIM community!

We will be running a special video stream of the talks so you can watch from home. We ask for a small fee of £1 to watch the stream, the link to sign up is here.

Our keynote speaker is Mathijs Kok, Community Manager at Aerosoft, who will be talking about the challenges they face designing aircraft for Flight Simulator.

Alongside this, we are lucky to be joined by a host of other names including:

  • Dan Parkin (BA Virtual), who will be giving us an insight into creating a successful Virtual Airline
  • Gary Oliver (Simfest), who will be talking all about his home cockpit
  • Anthony Lawrence and Adam Arkley, who will be talking about their journey to getting a PPL
  • Gunnar Lindahl, who will talk about VATSIM from the Board of Governors perspective.

We will be giving away two products courtesy of Aerosoft, one to those attending the conference in person and one to those watching on our live stream!

The evening will be kicking off at 18:00z on Friday 29th July at Conference Aston, we look forward to you tuning in on the stream! Don’t forget, you need to have purchased a VATSIM UK Live! event ticket to attend in person.

Make sure to also follow us on Twitter to keep up with events over the weekend via our handle @VATSIMUKLive
