I've googled and asked everywhere and I can't find any situation similar to mine. Basically after a fresh clean install or repair my sim works only the first start after that, the second time I try to start it it gives me a black screen instead of the scenario setup menu, if I press esc it opens the pause menu but anything I click on makes it ctd. I cleaned everything to reinstall it and without installing any addon but it still gives me the same problem, how could I try to solve it? Thanks.

Try deleting your prepar3d cfg (it will create a new one) and see if that helps.

 

Your path --> \c:\Users\your user\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3

I don't know why but I solved it by deleting only the dll.xml and exe.xml files, thanks for answering anyway.

Just out of Curiosity,  What was in your dll.xml and exe.xml file that would of caused this ?  Have a peep and share the knowledge :smile:
