Cockpit effects lighting config help needed

Featured Replies

I want to lower the light output of a couple cockpit overhead lights. I found the lights stated in the Aircraft config in the effects folder and opened them with notepad. I would like to know which text has to do with the output or amount of light the light has?

This should do it for you.

[ParticleAttributes.X]

Color Start=255, 255, 255, 255  // IN RGBA
Color End=248, 242, 214, 255

Change the colors to "less" white keeping the RGB ratio. IE @50%
Color End=248, 242, 214, 255
becomes -
Color End=124, 121, 107, 255

The start color is the color at the beginning of the particle's lifetime, end color at the end.
