Help with reinstalling Ultimate Traffic 2....

Recommended Posts

Had to reinstall FSX about a month ago, and everything is reinstalled and running great.  Everything but Ultimate Traffic2!   Whenever I try to install it, it starts but quickly stops and gives me this message:

"An unknown error occurred while accessing C:\Program Files (x86}\Microsoft games\Microsoft Flight SimulatorX\Flight one software\Ultimate Traffic2\utii.dll"

I don't know how to solve this.  What's missing, and is it something in my Registry?  Is there a way to uninstall the registry entry for this product?  If so, I can't seem to find it.

What's your advice for me on this?

That didn't seem to be the problem.  Still stumped on this one.

THANK YOU.....IT WORKED!  After a few attempts, I found that you were RIGHT!  Windows Defender was blocking my re-installation of Ultimate Traffic X 2.  I now have my program back and working.

Really appreciate the advice.  Love this forum.
