what to set ftx central at when installing other addons

Featured Replies

I want to install FSDT CYVR and Orbxsim Kelowna. The Kelowna install has an option for Orbx integration. I know this has been asked before but i can's find it--what do I set FTX Central to before I instlall the addons? And is this a hard rule applicable to all sceneries? Thanks in advance.

since the migration patch orbx released earlier this summer, there isn't really anything to set anymore in that regard. if you don't have the current version it might be worth patching up to the latest.

other than that just make sure the new airports are above the orbx stuff in your scenery library and follow any specific instructions they have for integration

Hi Andy, thanks for replying. I'm not sure though what you mean by migration patch. Is the a new FTC Central. I haven't installed the updated libraries yet as I have more orbx regions to install. I'm not too sure what to do.

the migration patch combined all the regions and ftx global stuff so that it is no longer necessary to switch between them anymore. ftx central handles it all automatically now. the current version is 2.1 or something like that. it is sort of new , from june or july maybe.

i think maybe if you install the latest libraries it will give you the upated version of ftx central also.. not 100% sure on that ..but it is fine to install the libraries before adding your other regions anyway. just run central again after installing any new regions and it should process it all.

cheers
