just installed UTX USA . the files show up in the settings\scenery library\addon scenery drop down memory 1 to 11. But there is no change in the ground appearance  any place in the USA.

FSX STEAM, from discs, Win10. * have a high end video card , processor and tons of memory. My son who runs SYSTRONIX  built it for me to run FSX. frame rates are mostly 40 to 50+/sec.

I think the card is MSI GEFORCE GTX 950 DirectX 12GTX 950 GAMING 2G 2GB 128 Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 X 16 HDCP etc.

 

any ideas about what is wrong ?

Have you run the set up tool? Does it say the regions are active? Have you posted in their support forums?
