Monterey to Palm Springs

Recommended Posts

I haven’t flown this bird in ages, so dust and cobwebs had a healthy dose of time to spread all over it. But finally she was ready to take to the skies again.

(ORBX Monterey, SoCal and Palm Springs)

As one can see, our free-of-cobwebs-plane was filled to capacity

The scenery changed fairly frequently

We pass over Banning

Before reaching the Palm Springs area we pass over a fairly large casino complex in the middle of nowhere: the Morongo Casino Resort

It is obvious that we fly IFR

Finally we reach our destination

Love that flight plan...ORBX custom airports are very nice....I-15 to I-10 coming off the high desert is also a very scenic drive...outstanding screenshots!
