September 18, 20169 yr Hi all, Not sure if this has been covered, I have tried to search but peoples terminology for the issue may not be the same. Flying the 777-300ER now and every 2 seconds my ETA's and Fuel Figures flash, at the same time the destination ETA jumps back and forth by about 5 mins. Not had this issue on the outbound flight so not sure whats changed. Seems to me as if the FMC is struggling with a bit of route or something which is causing constant ETA changes. Regards Oli Oli
September 18, 20169 yr Flying the 777-300ER now and every 2 seconds my ETA's and Fuel Figures flash, at the same time the destination ETA jumps back and forth by about 5 mins. I've seen that happen on occasion and cannot reproduce it. I think it is a bug, but I've only seen it in one out of at least 10 flights so I haven't been able to find cause or correlation. I've started watching for it to see when it starts happening but haven't seen it in a week or two. Frustrating. You can play with winds but I don't think that will change it, I notice resetting the route by doing something like changing STAR or adding a waypoint seems to remove it sometimes... still looking. Be nice if you find something to report it. and by the way.... Full names on all posts in the PMDG forums please. Dan Downs KCRP

Dan, thanks for your reply, I have just changed the ARR into LHR and just selected the Approach and STAR without a Transition this time and it has solved the issue. Along with the flashing there were no Step Climb Markers or Fix Page predicted ETA-ALT markers either. I presume the issue is something with the coding in the FMC, or perhaps the Navigraph Nav Data that it doesn't like and therefore cannot compute times/distance/fuel? Regarding the name, I knew I'd forgotten something! Apologies! Regards Oliver Barker Oli
September 18, 20169 yr , I have just changed the ARR into LHR and just selected the Approach and STAR without a Transition this time and it has solved the issue. That is a different problem than the one I thought you had. Yes, the arrivals into EGLL reveal a bug in the 777 when you select the OCK transition for the ILS approach. Dan Downs KCRP
