October 4, 20169 yr Author Interesting shots as always, but why does the river come to an abrupt end in the 6th screenie? Some kind of ox-bow lake? Thanks very much for commenting.....flooding on the lower Mississippi can cause the river to change course...old routes become isolated lakes! HLJAMES
