Dull Scenery :/

Featured Replies

Hello

I installed  FTX England, flew with it and then changed a few settings while doing a circuit at Manchester EGCC.

After I finished bumping up the sliders to the right (this is in Prepar3D btw), the scenery looked very dull to what it was before...
I don't have a before and after screenshot but I do have something...

This is what it looks now: http://prntscr.com/crb7ts

Before, it looked like the screenshots on FTX's website.

It had a nice green color to it, now its just  an Autumn beige shade :(

Any help is appreciated!

ORBX has a full annual colour palette and it pulls the seasonal information from the date of your flight. Is it not just that the Autumn season colours are enabled? Try changing your flight date to sometime in mid-summer and see if your "greenery" returns.

Hope this helps.

Oh - and welcome to AVSIM!

Erm... After Fall comes winter, don't expect the colors to liven up much  :wink: .

Two solutions :

- set P3D before August 31st, the last P3D official summer day ;

- fly in the Southern hemisphere or in tropical areas like PNG.
