fsx-ms Differential braking issues

So, I've become a little obsessed with the excellent Sibwings AN-2 Colt. It's one of the best I think I've found for fax. But I have one huge issue with it - it's ground handling sucks!

 

I'm using differential braking to steer, as it should be - the tail wheel should be fully castoring but it doesn't seem to properly. Also even the tiniest application of differential brake seems to stop the whole aircraft. It's really difficult to get it to pivot around one of the main wheels.

 

Are there any ways I can tweak the CFG to get more realistic operation? I'd try over on the developers own forum but they seem to be completely inactive and the question has been asked over there and the devs didn't even reply. I know it's possible to make the rudder turn the aircraft, but I'd rather stay as realistic as possible...

There is a tail wheel lock/unlock keyboard command - the default DC-3 uses it for example. It's SHIFT-G

 

Perhaps that is the issue? Hope it helps.

Already looked into that, sadly not - it's definately something in the config.
